OUR SCHOOL CHARTER

Our School's Aims

 

1. Catholic Character
To maintain and preserve the Catholic Character of St. Anne's as provided for in the Private Schools Conditional Integration Act (1975) and the integration agreement for St. Anne's School, also recognising the right of the Proprietor to supervise and maintain this.

 

2. Curriculum Delivery
To provide a stimulating, challenging environment and toi provide a balanced learning programme in accordance with the National Curriculum guidelines and statements.

 

3. Student Progress and Achievement
To monitor, assess and report regularly on pupil progress and achievement and utilise data for future planning.

 

4. Personnel
To be a good employer, provide qualified, professional staff, and also to provide an environment which promotes a high level of staff performance.

 

5. Finance
To manage and organise the finances of the school responsibly in accordance with the legislative guidelines.

 

6. Property
To maintain the school facilities ensuring a safe, healthy environment for students while making best use of the resources which are available.

 

7. Community Consultation, Partnership and Involvement
To consult regularly with parents, staff and the local community.

 

8. Cultural Diversity
To develop policies that reflect New Zealand's bi-culturalism and multi-cultural diversity.

 

9. School Self Review
To maintain an on-going programme of self review.
